Ratings: 5 of 5 stars

Why Marie Lu? Why do you torture us? I have to wait until November 5th 2013 for the sequel????No!!!!

Back to the review.
Prodigy exceeded my expectations by a mile. Finishing Prodigy gave me goosebumps. I mean after building up the emotions throughout two books, this major cliffhanger happens? Marie Lu you evil genius!

June and Day, our heroes, head to Las Vegas, the military city of the republic, where they're welcomed into the fold of the Patriots, who are anti-Republic revolutionaries. They begin hatching a plan to assassinate the new Elector,  who came into power after the old Elector suddenly died. This plan involves June and Day being pushed around like chess pieces, and along the way they discover secrets about the plan, the Republic and themselves that forces them to question everything they believe is true. And the ending! The ending completely blindsided me. I didn't know what the hell to make of it. It just happened, this huge bombshell, and I was left reeling.

The story Lu wrote was full of twists and turns and there were a lot of things that happened that I could not guess beforehand. I didn’t even know who the actual evil person was until June figured it out. With amazing characters, an awesome storyline, and dynamic narrations, Prodigy was probably one of the best sequels I have ever read.

I was absolutely heartbroken about Metias, and the truth about his death.I still hate Commander Jameson, because of everything she did to Day, and i hate Thomas with passion  btw, Kaede kicks ass in this book.I love both June and Day because they are so amazing and I wish that I could do half of the stuff that they can do.
If you haven't read this series or this book, read it right now. You must or you haven't lived a full life!!
