I started watching the TV show when it first came out, and liked it a lot. So I decided to see how the book series would compare.(and find out who A really is in the process.)
Pretty Little Liars, is about five best friends - Emily, Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Alison. Alison the queen bee of their group is what you could call the secret keeper of the clique. During a sleepover in seventh grade Alison walked out on them after a fight and then mysteriously disappeared.Fast forward a few years . The girls stopped talking to each other after the disappearance of Alison and now they're all receiving threatening texts, IMs, notes and messages from an anonymous sender A who claims to know their dark secrets they thought disappeared with Alison and trust me, these girls have plenty of dirty secrets to last 10 lifetimes.
This book is a guilty pleasure read for sure. The plot is full of twists and turns and I have absolutely no idea what will happen next. But i have to admit i like the tv series a tad bit more than the book.But that does not change the fact that I will definitely read the sequel!
