That is the BEST last line I have read in a while. I have been a fan of Maggie Stiefvater for years now. I read the Books of Faerie, The Wolves of Mercy Falls, and The Scorpio Races and they all have been totally awesome and different. So I was thinking what new could she put in this book? and the answer was...
Blue Sargent has grown up in a household of psychic women, who have always told her that she will cause her true love to die. Once a year, she and her mother go to a churchyard to communicate with the soon-to-be-dead. Blue doesn't have the same clairvoyance her mother has, yet she sees the spirit of a boy named Gansey. The bad news:
“There are only two reasons a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve. ... Either you’re his true love . . . or you killed him.”
Uh-oh.
As usual, M.Stiefvater creates a rich atmosphere in her story, full of mystery and intrigue. Her writing is gorgeous and creates clear mental images. Also, I was ecstatic that she wrote this book in the third person. Before this, a majority of her books were written in multiple first-person perspectives.So anyway, I was very impressed and can't wait for the sequels.

I am very sleep deprived, having been up all night reading this book but I must say this book was just as intense and emotional for me as the first.  
                                               
The sequel picks up months after Emma's attack from the Evil Bitch from hell "aka" Carol, and Emma has now made the decision to live with her mother Rachel and start over. Emma soon realizes this will not be easy as her mother is still an alcoholic who likes to get in a drunken stupor and bring home random guys from bars. Emma begins to hide things(again) from her bestie Sara and her sweet, handsome and caring boyfriend Evan. But neither is a fool.While Emma struggles with her existence/reason for breathing she still has to take care of her drunk mommy, school,sports and her sanity. Her sanity which is wearing thin thanks to Rachel and her drunk hurtful comments that she can never recall once sober. 
The last 25% of this book has twist and turns i could have never predicted and the ending was a TOTAL SHOCKER. I cannot wait for book 3 this ending was not the one i wanted.

 I actually loved this book. More than the first one anyway.Now that I had an idea what was actually going on, I started to suspect a lot of things , but I don't think I could have guessed the end. I was close but i didn't see THAT coming in the end.Mara in this book, was let's just say, funny and in a way messed up as she was in the last book.
 If you thought Mara's life in the first book was mind-wracking, confusing, and weird, then her life in the second book just got a whole lot crazier.There is her, believed to be dead, ex stalking her, crazy dolls appearing everywhere, nervous and paranoid parents, some kind of crazy dream haunting and a bunch of other voodoo-istic/creeptastic events transpiring in her life which she seems to have lost control over.
Overall, the plot-line was crazy, twisted, unexpected, and a hell of a marvelous ride. Pieces of information were thrown at you one after another and sometimes, even though it was hard to keep up with, Miss Hodkin made it possible. A word of warning: The cliffhanger is even worse than The Unbecoming so be ready .

This book was a whole new level of disappointing. I am seriously hurt this series was one of my absolute favorites......until this book was released.The only good this book was the guys and how the different POVs were written.Normally I would agree that Rebecca Donovan is an exceptional writer who basically holds all your emotions in the palm of her hands while you are reading her books. Perhaps, too much expectation went into this book because of the high standard we are accustomed to from her.
It has been two years since Emma left Evan and went off to college but she is not the girl she used to be. She is just a shell of her previous self . Emma isn’t living, she is just Breathing. With the help of her roommates, Emma is forced into doing things and trying to bring some excitement into her life.This is how Emma meets Cole.(I will not elaborate but felt really sorry for Cole throughout the book) When Emma gets the call that her mother killed herself she is forced to go to her home town that she ran away from, which eventually leads to breaking her down even more. Memories of what happened eat at Emma alive and she wants to numb the pain…with alcohol? yes alcohol. Enter Evan......... and the rest you will have to read yourself.
Emma was frustrating at times, so much that I wanted to scream at her or shake her out of it.Who was this IMPOSTER and what had she done with the EMMA we knew???The story felt Unfinished .I blinked, literally and it was over????!!!!

I couldn't put this book down. This series has been a solid ‘hit’ from Book One, and each and every step of the way seems to get better and better.

Although most people believe that Alexis was actually a killer in this scenario, the truth is far worse.Not only is Alexis now being stalked by Lydia’s ghost, she is also seeing yellow roses appear - Lydia’s signature flower - to let Alexis know that she’s planning her revenge. Girls are soon disappearing, with rose left behind for others to find, but is Lydia the mastermind behind everything? Add in the fact that Alexis can no longer even pick up her beloved camera because of all the rotting and decaying bodies she now sees appearing in the lens - and you have a girl who must remain super strong in order to find and solve the mystery of a murderer who could be either dead…or alive.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book. It is so good!! I was a little worried at first, because I felt the plot wasn't moving fast enough for me but then it got very fast-paced and interesting. . I was actually creeped out while reading certain sections, which is awesome. So people out there grab your copies and start reading.

THIS. BOOK. IS. PHENOMENAL. Books like this are the reason why I love reading. This Girl was the perfect final chapter to a magnificent series that will forever reside on my all time favorites shelf. This story was so beautifully written that I almost wanted to highlight the entire book.

Colleen Hoover has outdone herself (again). She managed to take a story that we love(Slammed) and retell it from the hero’s POV while still making every single word of it feel new, fresh and powerful.The book actually takes place after Point of Retreat and is a continuation of their story in that respect. But, a major part of the book, is Lake asking Will what his perspective was on a lot of the things they went through together, and asking him things about himself that neither she nor us (the readers) knew.

Do you need to re-read Slammed and Point of Retreat before reading this? No. But you do need to read them at least once first? For sure!This book was perfect from start to finish.

I didn't like this book at all . this book is......wierd. in a bad way. They go through half the book and they make Bianca out like she doesn't know anything about what’s happening at the school, and then BANG, all of a sudden, well she knows everything, and had all the time.
Evernight follows Bianca, a shy and socially awkward girl who is sent to Evernight Academy with her parents when they get jobs there. She doesn't fit in at all, you have the in-group who are posh, snobby and bitchy who Bianca really doesn't fit in with and then you have the out-casts who she doesn't feel like she fits in with at all. Then she meets Lucas, he is dreamy and drop-dead gorgeous(Can the author be anymore obvious?). They bond immediately and start falling for each other really quickly(totally unexpected right?). However, it turns out that they are both keeping secrets from each other, deadly ones that could put the other in immediate danger.
 Bianca meets Lucas ONCE, and I don't know if you all believe in love at first sight, but seriously! She's like dreaming about how much she loves him, and she's supposed to be shy?? The author knew what she wanted in the end, and in the beginning, and a few places in the middle, but she couldn't think of anything to go between the places she had planned out. I am not expecting much from the sequel and i hope others like it more than I did.

This book was astonishingly good.With a notorious female assassin as a main character, Thone of Glass redefines the meaning of impressive.

The price? she must act as his champion in a competition to find a new royal assassin and win.The determination, wit and pure strength that resonated in Celaena’s character made her instantly one of my favourite female protagonists of all time. She is not only intelligent but is also unexpectedly girly. One moment she will fawn over luscious dresses and another she can have her makeshift hairpin dagger to your throat.
With such a well-crafted set of fleshed-out characters, it was near impossible to disengage from the story. Sarah J Maas has delivered a truly captivating story with four e-novellas also available (which I am determined to read as soon as possible) I am already eagerly anticipating the sequel.

On the surface, the sunshine club seems rather pathetic: girls getting together to better themselves, to be prettier, and to make better fashion choices. After learning that the club is centered around an entity named Aralt, Alexis and her friend Megan decide to infiltrate the club and destroy the source of its power, an ancient book written in a foreign language. This book did not disappoint my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a read that keeps you on the edge of your seat in anticipation for the rest of the story.
